Vanessa Frankowski Selected to Compete in ITA All-American Qualifying Singles Tournament

Frankowski and Sandra Wikstrom selected as alternates for ITA All-American Pre-Qualifying Tournament.

YPSILANTI, Mich.--Two members of the women’s tennis team have been selected to compete across the country in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Qualifying singles Tournament and the ITA All-American Pre-Qualifying Tournament.

Senior Vanessa Frankowski (Stuttgart, Germany- Albertus Magnus Gymnasium) was one of 55 individuals who were selected to compete in the ITA All-American Qualifying Singles Tournament, Oct. 2-3, at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

Frankowski and newcomer Sandra Wikstrom (Lodose, Sweden- Katrinelunds Gymnasiet) were also chosen as alternates for women’s doubles for the ITA All-American Pre-Qualifying Tournament, Sept. 29-30.
