KALAMAZOO, Mich. –
The Eastern Michigan University baseball team defeated in-state rival Western Michigan, 8-4, in Mid-American conference action here Friday afternoon at Haymes Field. Senior ace pitcher George Biddle (7-4) led the way for EMU on the mound allowing only one unearned run on eight hits in eight innings of work.
EMU tallied 12 hits for the game and was led by junior Jeff Davis who had a solid effort at the plate going 3-for-5 with three runs scored, a RBI and his team-leading seventh triple.
