YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Eastern Michigan University alumni, students, fans, and friends are invited to celebrate Homecoming 2026 at the Alumni & Friends Homecoming Tailgate Saturday, Oct. 17, before the Eagles take on the University of Toledo Rockets.
The Alumni & Friends Homecoming Tailgate will take place from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on the front lawn of Rynearson Stadium, 799 N. Hewitt Road. The tailgate will serve as a central gathering spot for the EMU community, featuring food, music, games, prizes, and other activities.
New this year, Alumni & Friends will also set up in the former EMU bus stop across the street, offering additional games, swag, and activities for Homecoming attendees.
Lunch will include a hot dog, chips, and a soft drink. Water will be available for free. Homecoming shirts will also be available for purchase at the event.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12. Children ages 2 and younger are free. Walk-up admission will be available for $10 for adults and $5 for children, with card payment required. The student price remains $5.
The Eagles and Rockets are scheduled to kick off at 3:30 p.m.
