YPSILANTI, Mich. — Eastern Michigan University junior point guard Carlos Medlock (Detroit, Mich.-Murray Wright) has been named to the All-Mid-American Conference preseason West Division team in a vote by the MAC News Media Association.

Medlock started in 18 of 19 games last season before suffering a broken foot against Buffalo (Jan. 28, 2007), and missing the remainder of the season. He led the team in scoring with a 13.2 points per game average, and paced all EMU scorers in 10 games. He averaged in double figures 14 times and tallied more than 20 points five times.
