SHARON (ROSE) SCHWARTZ...Graduated cum laude in 1987 and also received an MBA from EMU in 1989...Earned four women's basketball letters from 1984-87 under Head Coach Kathy Hart...Was an intimidating shot blocker, finishing her career with 144 blocks, which still stands 10th on the all-time Mid-American Conference list...Holds the EMU record for single-season blocked shots with 78...Turned in the EMU record for single-game blocks with nine against Ball State, Feb. 21, 1987...Finished her career ranked second in EMU history with 684 rebounds and eighth in points scored with 766...Received honorable mention MAC All-Academic honors in both her junior and senior seasons...Has worked for the Ford Motor Company in the Finance organization since 1990, including a 2-and 1/2-year foreign assignment in England during which she played first base on the 1996 National Slow-Pitch Softball Championship Tournament Team and was named the female MVP...Inducted into the Montrose High School Hall of Fame in 2007.
