Aaron Abraham is heading into his second year as an assistant sports performance coach at Eastern Michigan University.
Abraham oversees all aspects of sports performance for men's basketball, women's tennis, and women's dive.
Abraham came to Ypsilanti from the University of Notre Dame where he served as a sports performance assistant. While in South Bend he trained the women's dive team as well as the cheer team. He served as an assistant strength coach for all other Olympic sports.
Abraham has had stops at the University of Tennessee and Northwestern University serving as an intern for the sports performance departments there.
He earned his Masters of Education in Sports Administration from Millersville University of Pennsylvania where he was also a graduate assistant strength coach. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology degree from Eastern Illinois University.
Abraham is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, a USAW-L1 Coach, as well as a Mental Performance Mastery Certified Coach.
