EMU: 2015: Was the coxswain of the Varsity Four team in all five of the Eagles’ spring regattas…Helped the team to a victory at the Lubbers Cup where the V4 squad earned the Michaud Family Cup, which is awarded to the top women’s four team… Also helped the V4 to the Petite Championship Crown at the MACRA Championships...Led the Green and White to a third-place finish at the CAA Championships in the Varsity Four, which was the first-ever top-three finish for the Eagles, crossing the line in 7:44.54…2014: Rowed on six occasions for the Green and White during the 2014 season…Was in the starting lineup four times for the Varsity 4, while rowing twice for the Second Varsity Eight squad…2013: Participated in seven races for the Eagles in the 2013 spring season…HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Avondale High School...graduated with honors and was a member of honor roll…PERSONAL: Full Name: Spencer Simone Sturgis…daughter of Michael and Sylvia Sturgis…has one brother, Zarrick…Major: Communications with a minor in Health Promotion and Education
