The 2014-15 season is Beatrice Korte’s first year as a graduate assistant for the rowing team at Eastern Michigan University. Korte was hired in the fall of 2014 after graduating from EMU in April, 2013.
Korte was a four-year standout on the Eastern Michigan rowing team after walking on during her freshman year at EMU. The Ypsilanti, Mich. native has spent the past two seasons as a volunteer assistant coach for the Eagles before being hired as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2014.
During her time at Ypsilanti High School, Korte was a three-sport athlete participating in track, swimming and water polo as well as being a member of National Honor Society.
Korte graduated in the spring of 2013 from Eastern Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.
