Kevin Lehman is in his second year as the Eagles’ director of basketball operations after spending three years as a member of the Michigan State University women’s basketball program.
In his first season in Ypsilanti, Lehman was primarily responsible for managing the program’s budget, equipment and community outreach. He also coordinated team travel, film exchange and practice schedules during the 2007-08 Mid-American Conference West Division Championship campaign.
During his tenure at Michigan State, the Spartans compiled a 81-23 record, earning the 2005 Big Ten Conference regular-season championship, a Big Ten Tournament championship and an NCAA Tournament runner-up finish. As a student manager/assistant video coordinator, he was responsible for helping with game operations, travel preparations and film editing while assisting other administrative duties.
The Lancaster, Ohio native served as a basketball statistician while in school at Lancaster High School. During that time the Golden Gales were crowned the 2003 Ohio Central District Championship with a record of 23-2.
The 23-year-old Lehman (4-15-85) is a 2007 Michigan State University graduate with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism.
