Morgan Gott begins her first season begins as member of the Eastern Michigan University women's lacrosse staff in 2021-22.

Prior to Ypsilanti, Gott was a vital member of Denver's Summit Lacrosse Club, where she was the head coach of the 2024 black team and the speed and agility coach. In these roles, Coach Gott helped implement offensive and defensive strategies while conditioning her players for the collegiate level. She also performed similar responsibilities for the Yellow Jackets Mid-Atlantic lacrosse club where she mentored multiple age groups.

Before she helped develop high school athletes, Gott served on George Mason University's coaching staff as an assistant coach from 2018-20. With the Patriots, Gott worked closely with the goalies and assisted with practice plans, gameday operations, travel plans, scouting reports, film, and recruiting.

Under her tutelage, goalkeeper Melissa Semkiw made First Team All-Atlantic 10 in 2019 and was selected to the Preseason All-Atlantic 10 team in 2020. Semkiw tied her career-high in saves with 19 against Duquesne, April 7, 2019. In 2021, the keeper was ranked as the sixth-best Division I goalie by USL Magazine. Additionally, Gott mentored attacker Deanna Balsama, who was honored as the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year in 2019.

From summer 2018 through fall 2019, Gott served as the Head Coach of the CRASH Lacrosse Club. There, she coached weekly clinics for middle school and high school girls where she focused on fundamentals.

Gott joined the University of Mary Washington staff where she worked with the draw takers, goalies, and defense. During her time in Fredericksburg, Va., Gott assisted with recruiting, practice, plans, gameday operations, and travel plans for the program.

Before joining the Eagles, Gott spent fall 2016 through summer 2017 as an assistant coach at Roanoke College where she specialized in mentoring the draw specialists. In addition to normal coaching responsibilities, Gott was responsible for the lifting and conditioning programs. During the same time span, she was the head lacrosse coach of the Midwestern Force club where she instruct 2018 graduates in tournaments.

As a student-athlete, Gott played in 61 games for Coastal Carolina from 2013-2016 and was a member of the Chanticleers' inaugural season. In the Teal and Gold, Gott helped her team win 32 games in the program's first four seasons as a midfielder.

"I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the lacrosse staff at EMU," said Gott. "Alicia Groveston-Jackson has a vast knowledge of the game and a great understanding of how to start a new program. I am looking forward to being a part of this inaugural team and guiding these young women through this journey."
