Shaun Shivers Jr. is an offensive assistant and former collegiate and professional running back from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. A graduate of Chaminade-Madonna High School, Shivers was a decorated prep standout, earning All-State honors twice, being named Broward County Player of the Year, State MVP, and leading his team to a state championship.
Shivers began his college career at Auburn University, where he played from 2018 to 2021, earning a bachelor’s degree in 2021. Known for his explosive play, he rushed for 1,020 yards and eight touchdowns during his time with the Tigers, including a memorable performance in the 2019 Iron Bowl that cemented his legacy in the rivalry. He transferred to Indiana University for the 2022 season, where he led the Hoosiers with 592 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
Following college, Shivers signed as an undrafted free agent with the Seattle Seahawks and later played in the CFL for the BC Lions in 2023. In a Week 5 game against Montreal, he posted a season-best 63 rushing yards on 14 carries.
Most recently, Shivers returned to his alma mater, Chaminade-Madonna, serving as the running backs coach and head track coach. The powerhouse program has won seven of the last nine state football championships, including four straight from 2021 to 2024.
