PERSONAL: Full name: Matt Price...Son of Merry Price and the late Mike Price...Born: 5-31-90...Father, Mike, was an offensive lineman for the EMU football team and earned four letters for the Eagles (1978, 79, 79, 81)...EMU: 2012: Appeared in four games making six total tackles...Recorded a career-high three tackles to open the season at Ball State (Aug. 30)...2011: Appeared in six games for Eastern...Recorded two total tackles, one solo against Howard (Sept. 4) and one assist at Penn State (Sept. 24)...2010: Practiced with the team but did not see any game action...HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Saline H.S. where he played football for Head Coach Mike Glennie...Named first-team All-Area on The Ann Arbor News squad after averaging 14.2 tackles per game to go along with a team-best eight sacks during his senior season...Selected All-Area his junior and senior seasons...Was a three-year letterwinner in football and served as team captain as a senior.
