PERSONAL: Full Name: Matt Scott Bohnet...Son of Scott and Patti Bohnet...Born 10-17-82...Communication major...Father, Scott, played football at Alma College from 1974-78, and brother, Ken, is on the EMU squad...EMU: Transfer from the University of Iowa who sat out the 2003 season in his season of residency and after playing last season, will have one year of eligibility remaining...Has been a member of Head Coach Jeff Genyk’s Champions Club as one of the top team leaders in both 2004 and 2005...2004: Earned a letter in his first season of play for the Eagles...Started at quarterback in all 11 games and finished the season as the sixth-ranked quarterback in the nation in total offense (293.74 yards per game)...Completed 228 passes for 434 yards and 21 touchdowns with just 12 interceptions...Ranked third in the Mid-American Conference in total offense (293.7), and fourth in passing yards per game (255.2)...One of 11 Champions Club members on the team...Connected with A.J.
