Zach Truty is in his first season as the recruiting coordinator for the Eastern Michigan University football program.
A 2008 graduate of the University of Michigan, Truty spent the 2008-09 season as an intern with the Detroit Lions. Prior to that he worked with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League as a coaching assistant and player personnel assistant. He also worked as an intern with the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars and the University of Michigan.
A native of LaSalle, Ill., Truty graduated from University High School in Normal, Ill. in 2004 after earning three football letters and serving as a football captain.
