Steve Otterbein is in his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Eastern Michigan University football team.

The 24-year-old Otterbein (7-27-84) is a 2007 graduate of Hillsdale College where he was a four-year starter at defensive back for the Chargers’ football squad. He was a three-year Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic team selection.

Otterbein’s father, Keith Otterbein, is the current head football coach at Hillsdale College and previously was an assistant coach at Ball State University.
