Matt Dovenberg enters his first season in quality control working with the offense.
A 2014 graduate from the University of Minnesota, Dovenberg most recently served in quality control for special teams at his Alma where he coached the 2016 Big Ten Kicker of the Year. Prior to Minnesota, Dovenberg served as a graduate assistant at Concordia University working with the wide receivers and offense. At Concordia, Dovenberg coached Newcomer of the Year in 2015 and ran the kick-off return unit that was ranked 15th in the country. During his senior year at Minnesota, Dovenberg gained coaching experience when he was a student assistant coach. His responsibilities included working with the tight ends, constructing the quarterbacks, and analyzing opponent’s defense.
