Andrew Fretz enters his first season in 2012 as the offensive graduate assistant coach for the Eastern Michigan University football team.

Fretz, a 2010 graduate of EMU, was a four-year letterwinner as an offensive linemen for the Eagles. After redshirting as a true freshman, Fretz lettered in the following four seasons for the Green and White. In 2009 Fretz was named the Eagles’ James M. “Bingo” Brown Award Winner which is awarded to the most valuable offensive player in that season.

After graduating with a degree in Psychology from Eastern in 2010, Fretz continued his education at Concordia University, earning a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Administration in 2012. The Kalamazoo, Mich. native graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 2005.

Prior to joining the EMU coaching staff, Fretz worked as a graduate assistant offensive line coach for Concordia University from 2010-2012.
