PERSONAL: Full name: Mycal Robert Swaim...Son of Kathy and Casey Swaim...Born 11-6-90...Business Finance major...EMU: 2012: Appeared in eight games for the Eagles and made five starts...Made 20 tackles on the season with a season-high eight coming against Army (Oct. 20) and also forced a fumble in the victory against the Black Nights...Missed the first four games due to injury...JUNIOR COLLEGE: Attended Butte College in Oroville, Calif....Team finished 10-1 and ranked fifth in the state in 2011 under Head Coach Jeff Jordan...Named a unanimous All-Conference and All-Region selection as a sophomore...Led the Roadrunners in tackles with 64 (38 solo, 26 assist) to go along with seven interceptions and six pass breakups...Had a sack, a fumble recovery and an interception in the first half in a 50-28 victory over Sierra College...Also a gaurd on the basketball team...HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, Calif....Played under Head Coach Bill Haley...Played both wide receiver and free safety...Finished his senior season with 20 tackles (16 solo, 4 assist) plus an interception...Notched 59 (27 solo, 32 assist) tackles to go along with three pass breakups and an interception as a junior.
