EMU: 2013: Recovered from an injury at the beginning of the season to make his first NCAA Championships appearance, where he went 1-2 with a victory against Northwestern’s Alex Polizzi, 6-2, in the first round…received an automatic bid to the national tournament by going 3-1 and taking third place at the MAC Championships, March 10…went 18-12 overall with a 9-6 dual meet record and a perfect 3-0 showing in MAC matches…second on the squad with eight pins while adding two tech falls, three major decisions and five decisions…2012: Finished runner-up at 197 lbs. at the MAC Championships with a 1-1 record…beat Craig Kelliher of CMU, 5-2, for his postseason victory…went 20-9 on the season for the first 20-win campaign of his collegiate career…was 14-7 in dual meets and 4-1 in MAC bouts…recorded five pins, three technical falls, two major decisions and 10 decisions…stormed through the Edinboro Open (Feb. 8) with a 5-0 record to take first place…2011: Wrestled at 197 lbs. for the Eagles in the MAC Championships…posted a 15-10 overall record including an impressive 3-1 mark in MAC matches…MAC wins came against Mike Lukowski of Northern Illinois, 5-3, Josh Peters of Buffalo, 10-3, and Chad Friend of Central Michigan, 7-6…notched six falls on the season along with a technical fall…2010: Redshirted…posted a 15-4 record in unattached competition…HIGH SCHOOL: Placed at the state level all four years of his high school career – a first at Bedford High...took sixth, fifth, seventh, and second place in his four state tournament appearances...was also a four-year All-Academic Award winner...PERSONAL: Full Name: Nicholas J.
