Eastern Michigan Athletics Launches 50/50 Raffle to Support Student-Athletes

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Eastern Michigan University Athletics will launch a new 50/50 Raffle beginning with the football home opener against Sacramento State Saturday, Aug. 29, at Rynearson Stadium. The charitable initiative will give fans an opportunity to support Eastern Michigan Athletics and its student-athletes while competing for a share of the jackpot throughout the 2026 home football season.
The 50/50 Raffle will be held at all Eastern Michigan home football games during the 2026 season, and fans 18 and older are eligible to participate.
For each raffle, the winning fan will receive 50 percent of the net proceeds from ticket sales. The remaining proceeds will benefit the Eastern Athletics Fund and its mission to support Eastern Michigan Athletics and EMU student-athletes.
"The 50/50 Raffle provides another opportunity for our fans to support Eastern Michigan Athletics while also giving them a chance to take home a portion of the jackpot," said EMU Vice President/Director of Athletics Scott Wetherbee. "We are grateful for the continued support of the Eastern community and our fans, and proceeds from this initiative will directly support our student-athletes and the resources they need to succeed academically and athletically."
The raffle will debut when Eastern welcomes Sacramento State to The Factory Saturday, Aug. 29. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase 50/50 Raffle tickets from designated raffle sellers throughout Rynearson Stadium. Ticket sales will remain open through the end of the third quarter.
The winning ticket number will be announced during the fourth quarter of each home football game and posted online at EMUEagles.com/5050.
