Baseball Announces 2026 Promotional Schedule

The 23-game home season begins against Michigan State Tuesday at 4 p.m.

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball program announced the promotional schedule for the 2026 season Monday, March 9.
Fans can attend all 23 home contests for free at Oestrike Stadium, beginning with the Eagles' home opener against Michigan State University Tuesday, March 10, at 4 p.m.
2026 Season-Long Promotions
Eastern Michigan fans will have a lot to cheer about throughout the 2026 season thanks to a pair of trigger promotions in partnership with local sponsors.
If the Eagles win a game at Oestrike Stadium, fans can celebrate with a special offer from Papa Johns. Following each EMU victory, a promotional code will be announced that gives fans 50% off regular menu-priced pizzas for a limited time.
In partnership with Meijer, Eastern Michigan baseball will also support the campus community throughout the season. If the Eagles record five strikeouts in a game, Meijer will donate food items to Swoop's Pantry to help provide resources for EMU students in need.
2026 Single-Game/Series Promotional Schedule
March 10 vs. Michigan State, 4 p.m. | Home Opener
Eastern Michigan opens the 2026 home schedule at Oestrike Stadium against Michigan State. Fans are encouraged to wear green and support the Eagles as they begin the season in Ypsilanti. Throughout the game, EMU baseball trivia will be played and there will be an EMU enter-to-win contest!
March 17 vs. Oakland, 3 p.m. | St. Patrick's Day Celebration
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Oestrike Stadium with a festive green-out atmosphere. Fans can enjoy Irish-themed decorations and activities while cheering on the Eagles. EMU-themed koozies and stickers will be available while supplies last.
March 20-22 vs. Akron | Race the Bases Weekend
Fans are invited to race the bases during this exciting weekend series against Akron. After each game, kids will have the opportunity to run the bases at Oestrike Stadium. The weekend will also feature racing-themed trivia and in-game activities for fans of all ages.
March 24 vs. Youngstown State, 3 p.m. | Crayola Night
Crayola Night brings creativity to the ballpark as fans will have the opportunity to color their own t-shirts at a special coloring station. The family-friendly event encourages young fans to combine art and baseball while enjoying an afternoon at Oestrike Stadium.
March 27-29 vs. Central Michigan | Future Student Weekend
Eastern Michigan will welcome prospective students and local high school baseball teams for Future Student Weekend. The series will highlight opportunities at EMU and include special programming for future Eagles, including Kids Club activities and giveaways such as EMU-branded bookmarks.
March 31 vs. Michigan, 3 p.m. | Faculty Appreciation Day
Eastern Michigan Athletics will recognize the dedication and contributions of EMU faculty and staff during Faculty Appreciation Day. Faculty members will be honored throughout the game, participating in special roles such as first pitch ceremonies and on-field recognitions.
April 10-12 vs. UMass | All-American Weekend
The Eagles will celebrate service and community during All-American Weekend. Friday, April 10, will recognize military members, first responders, and local heroes with special ceremonies and in-game competitions. Saturday, April 11, fans are invited to bring their four-legged friends to the ballpark for "Bark in the Park." With April 11 being National Pet Day, the Eagles will celebrate pets throughout the game with special recognitions, including a "Pet of the Game." All-American Weekend concludes on Sunday, April 12, with "Backyard BBQ Day" at Oestrike Stadium. Fans can enjoy a relaxed afternoon atmosphere featuring food trucks, yard games on the lawn, and ballpark favorites including $1 hot dogs as the Eagles close out the weekend series against UMass.
April 17-19 vs. Western Michigan | Spring Weekend
As part of EMU's campus-wide Spring Weekend Celebration, fans attending other EMU athletic events during the weekend can enter raffles at the baseball game. The weekend will also feature special promotions, including "9 Innings of Winnings," where prizes will be given away throughout the game on Sunday.
April 28 vs. Washington, 12 p.m. | Education Day
Eastern Michigan welcomes local schools and young fans to Oestrike Stadium for Education Day. The event will include special activities for students and educational programming throughout the game, along with giveaways such as EMU bookmarks and thunder sticks.
May 1-3 vs. Bowling Green | Celebration Weekend
Eastern Michigan will close the academic year with a weekend of celebrations at Oestrike Stadium during its series against Bowling Green. The Eagles will recognize graduating students throughout the weekend while also celebrating the history and legacy of EMU baseball. Saturday's game (May 2) will feature a special recognition of the 1976 Eastern Michigan baseball team, which finished as the runner-up at the College World Series. Members of the historic team will return to Oestrike Stadium to be honored during the game. Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to celebrate the milestone with the program, and the first 150 fans will receive a commemorative anniversary jersey.
May 14-16 vs. Ohio | Generation Series
The Generation Series brings together fans of all ages as Eastern Michigan welcomes youth teams, families, and community members to Oestrike Stadium. The weekend will feature youth team participation, postgame autograph opportunities, and special senior day celebrations as the Eagles close out the regular-season home schedule.
