Trio of Eastern Rowers Named to For Stars Network Watch List

Abbi Lauth, Reyna Nyquist, and Brooke Parisi were honored

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University rowing student-athletes Abbi Lauth, Reyna Nyquist, and Brooke Parisi were named to the 2026 For Stars Network Watch List, as revealed by the organization Thursday, Feb. 5.
Lauth (Grosse Ile, Mich./Grosse Ile), a junior rower, was a critical piece to the EMU 1V8+ in 2025. She has continued to improve outside of competition season, resetting the program in the 6k.
Nyquist (Powell, Ohio/Dublin Jerome), a freshman coxswain, spent time with EMU's top boats in the fall and is expected to be a key guide for Eastern this spring.
Parisi (Clifton, N.Y./Shenendehowa), a freshman rower, raced in the third seat for EMU at the Head of the Charles, Oct. 18, and is one of the Green and White's most valuable underclassmen.
All three of the honorees raced in Eastern's 1V8+, helping the Eagles secure the program's top mark at the Head of the Charles, Oct. 18, a 17:16.227 finish.
These athletes have successfully earned FSN Honors and were nominated by the FSN Core Staffers multifariously and ultimately decided upon due to the following, according to FSN:
