Swim and Dive Will Hold Annual Senior Day Extravaganza Saturday

The Eagles will honor their three seniors in a scrimmage of events and games
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University swim and dive programs will celebrate its three seniors in the 2026 class at the annual Senior Day Extravaganza, at Jones Natatorium, Saturday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m.
The scrimmage will include both traditional swimming and diving events, along with themed games. Admission is free.

The Seniors
The Eagles will honor swimmers Ali Kudo (Guelph, Ontario/John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational Institute) and Sydney Ulmer (York, Pa./Central York/Savannah College), along with diver Cate Migliori (Stockton, Calif./San Joaquin Delta College).
Kudo, one of this year's captains, has competed in 31 meets for the Eagles, earning 15 first place finishes, along with 13 top three finishes. She qualified for the CSCAA NIC meet in the 2023-24 season and earned All-MAC Second Team in the 2022-23 season. Kudo is a two-time Academic All-MAC recipient, along with earning CSC Academic All-District in the 2023-24 season.
Ulmer has been with Eastern for three seasons, after a successful season with Savannah College of Arts and Design, placing first in the SUN conference in the 100y and 200y butterfly events in the 2022-23 season. She has competed in 26 meets for EMU, earning a first-place finish and nine top three finishes. Ulmer qualified for the CSCAA NIC meet in the 2023-24 season and is also an Academic All-MAC recipient from the 2024-25 season.
Migliori has competed in 20 meets for the Eagles, earning three top three finishes and four top five finishes. She is the diving team captain this season, along with being a two-time Academic All-MAC recipient for the last two seasons. She has earned personal best scores in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events this season, with 232.05 points in the one-meter and 249.40 points in the three-meter.

The Eagles will next compete in the last weekend of regular season action at the Michigan First Chance Meet, hosted by the University of Michigan, at Canham Natatorium, in Ann Arbor, Mich., Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 14-15.
