Volleyball Announces 2025 Promotional Schedule

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball program announced the promotional schedule for the 2025 season Tuesday, Aug. 26.

Admission is free at all home matches inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center, giving fans the perfect opportunity to enjoy 12 exciting regular-season contests. Each match brings more than just great volleyball with special-themed events designed to create memorable experiences for fans both on and off the court!

2025 Season-Long Promotions
Fans can look forward to exciting, season-long promotions at all home volleyball matches inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center!

Volleyball Bingo – Complete your card during the match for a chance to win prizes. The first three winners who visit the marketing table receive a prize!

Enter to Win Contests – Each match will feature a different fan contest for your chance at great prizes! Games include:

Guess which Eagle will record the first ace.
Predict which Eastern player will record the first kill.
Guess which Eagle will record the first block of the match.
Guess the score of the first set.
Other surprise challenges will be announced throughout the season.

T-Shirt Toss for Aces – Every ace equals free t-shirts flying into the crowd!

Contest winners should pick up their bingo card, submit their enter-to-win contests answers, and pick up rewards at the marketing table.

2025 Single-Game Promotional Schedule
Sept. 4 vs Purdue Fort Wayne (7 p.m.) – Home Opener & Youth Volleyball Night #1
Kick off the 2025 season with EMU volleyball! Help pack the George Gervin GameAbove Center in support of Eastern's first match of the EMU Tournament. Stick around after the match for a post-match hit around on the same floor that the Eagles play on!

Sept. 5 vs Valparaiso (6 p.m.) – Teal Attack Match
The George Gervin GameAbove Center goes teal for the night, aiming to raise awareness for ovarian cancer, featuring special teal warm-up shirts and a fully teal-decorated atrium.

Sept. 6 vs Niagara (11 a.m.) – Camper Reunion & Kids Club Day
Enjoy an afternoon of fun with EMU volleyball as it welcomes back its 2025 campers and kids club members. After the match, join the team on the floor for a post-match autograph session!

Oct. 3 vs Bowling Green (6 p.m.) – Barbie World & Pride Night
Kick off Pink Weekend in style and step into Barbie's world while celebrating EMU volleyball with a match full of pink energy and Eagle pride. Enjoy themed music, giveaways, and an atmosphere that's all about inclusion, creativity, and community.

Oct. 4 vs Toledo (4 p.m.) – Dig Pink & Alumni Match
Pink Weekend continues with our annual Dig Pink match to raise awareness for breast cancer. Wear pink to show your support and help Eastern "pink out" the George Gervin GameAbove Center! Celebrate the program's history while we honor EMU volleyball alumni.

Oct. 9 vs Kent State (6 p.m.) – Salute to Service Match
Join the Eagles as they honor and celebrate the brave people who serve our community and country. This special night recognizes military veterans, first responders, and their families with activities and tributes throughout the match.

Oct. 10 vs Kent State (4 p.m.) – Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night
Eastern volleyball is proud to celebrate the incredible faculty and staff who make a difference every day at EMU. Join the Eagles as they honor the staff's hard work and dedication throughout the match!

Oct. 23 vs Buffalo (6 p.m.) – FSL Night & City Connect & Youth Volleyball Night #2
Celebrate FSL Night as Eastern volleyball recognizes EMU's fraternities and sororities with a special city connect-inspired look. The first 200 fans will receive a limited-edition city connect t-shirt! All fans are invited to the court to enjoy a post-match hit around.

Oct. 24 vs Buffalo (6 p.m.) – Volleyween & Girl Scouts Night Presented By Meijer
Join the Eagles for Volleyween and Girl Scouts Night! Fans can enjoy candy giveaways, a costume contest with prizes, and a special poster-making station. All Girl Scouts will receive an exclusive Eastern volleyball patch. After the match, all fans can stick around for an autograph session with the Eagles. Don't miss this fun-filled night of festive volleyball action!

Oct. 28 vs Central Michigan (6 p.m.) – "Serve It Up Night"
Get ready for a delicious evening as EMU volleyball serves up a food-themed night, on and off the court! Enjoy creative volleyball-inspired bites, take part in fun culinary challenges, and enjoy interactive activities all night long.

Nov. 6 vs Ball State (6 p.m.) – Diabetes Awareness Night
Join the Eagles as they raise awareness about diabetes throughout the match and honor members of the volleyball program who live with diabetes. Fans can share messages of support on our diabetes message wall.

Nov. 7 vs Ball State (6 p.m.) – Senior Night, Fan Appreciation & Girl Scout Night #2
Celebrate the EMU seniors with a special pre-match recognition honoring the 2025 class. This match also marks the second Girl Scout Night of the season, featuring a poster-making station open to all fans and an exclusive Eastern volleyball patch giveaway for Girl Scouts in attendance. Stick around after the match for a post-game autograph session with the Eagles.
