CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Mid-American Conference announced the 2025 Baseball Academic All-MAC Team Tuesday, June 16, recognizing a total of seven Eastern Michigan University student-athletes. Overall, 103 student-athletes were honored for their outstanding achievements in both athletics and academics.
Earning the award for the Eagles this season are Drew Beckner (Westerville, Ohio/Big Walnut/Charleston), Logan Hugo (Essexville, Mich./Essexville Garber), Bobby Jones (Loveland, Ohio/St. Xavier/Xavier), Brendan Kleiman (Olney, Md./Sherwood/Frederick C.C.), Cooper Vance (New Waterford, Ohio/Mohawk), Giano Zuccaro (Westerville, Ohio/Berea Midpark/Charleston), and Dom Anderson (Hagerstown, Ind./Hagerstown).

Western Michigan led the Conference with 14 student-athletes earning a spot on the team. Kent State followed with 12 honorees, while five other institutions had at least 10 student-athletes represented.
Hugo earned the award for the third time in his career, becoming the 12th student-athlete in program history to do so while Jones and Vance each made the list for the second time respectively.
Beckner, Kleiman, Zuccaro, and Anderson each garnered the award for the first time in their respective careers.
Anderson, Beckner, Hugo, Jones, Kleiman, and Zuccaro each earned degrees recently as all six walked the stage at the George Gervin GameAbove Center this spring, becoming Eastern Michigan graduates.
