Eagles Swim Into 2025 CSCAA National Invitational Championships

Eleven swimmers will compete across ten events Thursday-Saturday, March 13-15
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – On the heels of setting three program top 10 times at the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championships in New York last month, Eastern Michigan University swimmers are set to take on some of the most talented collegiate swimmers in the country at the 2025 College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Invitational Championships.
This year will be the eleventh year of the event, hosted at the F.A.S.T. Facility in Ocala, Fla., Thursday-Saturday March 13-15. Prelims will begin each day at 9:30 a.m. and finals commence at 6 p.m.
Official results will be uploaded on the CSCAA website here following each session, and each session will be live streamed on Youtube here. A post-meet recap will be posted to EMUEagles.com following the completion of the meet.
WHO'S COMPETING?
The Eagles are sending eleven swimmers to the Championship, including Sophie Gatrall (Windsor, Ontario/Tecumseh Vista Academy), Morgan Hofmeister (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy Liberty), Nina Larosa (Bay Village, Ohio/Bay), Emma Littrell (Taylor Mill, Ky./St. Henry District), Tristen Mina (Santa Clara, Calif./The King's Academy), Lucy Noble (Flagler Beach, Fla./Flagler Palm Coast), Nehir Oz (Istanbul, Turkey/Cevre), Kiersten Russell (Clinton, Mich./Saline), Siporah Sang (London, Ontario/Sir Frederick Banting Secondary), Abby Szadorski (Oswego, Ill./Oswego East), and Azra Umut (Istanbul, Turkey/Fenerbahce).
WHAT EVENTS?
Eight Eagles will represent the Green & White in individual events: Hofmeister (400y IM), Larosa (50y Breast, 100y Breast), Mina (50y Fly, 100y Fly), Oz (400y IM, 1000y Free), Russell (50y Back, 100y Back), Sang (50y Back), Szadorski (50y Breast, 100y Breast, 200y Breast), and Umut (500y Free). The 200y freestyle relay team members include Littrell, Noble, Gatrall, and Russell, while Sang, Larosa, Mina, and Noble will compete in the 200y medley relay. Littrell Gatrall, Noble, and Russell will team up for the 400y freestyle relay event, and Umut, Littrell, Hofmeister, Oz take on the 800y freestyle relay.
