YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — It is hat-choosing season once again, and EMUEagles.com will once again be your home for National Signing Day on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
EMU's coverage will include extensive social media and digital programming. Starting at 7 a.m. ET, follow @Coach_Creighton and @EMUFB for official announcements as soon as the Athletic Financial Aid Agreements (AFAs) roll in and are verified by the EMU Compliance office. Later in the day, fans will be able to tune into a signing day show on EMUEagles.com and EMU's YouTube Channel to see highlights and hear about each player from Head Coach Chris Creighton, Defensive Coordinator Ben Needham, and Offensive Coordinator Mike Piatkowski.
In its ninth year, the Early Signing Period was approved by the NCAA in May 2017. The early signing period allows high school seniors a 72-hour window in December to sign with the school of their choice. It comes about two months before National Signing Day, which is Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026.
