Cardinals held scoreless through 50 minutes

How It Happened
The Eagles came out hot on offense to start the match. Sophomore Ciara Brown (Wyandanch, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills West/Auburn) had the best scoring chance of the day for Eastern, sending a left-footed shot right down the center of the net that hit the crossbar.

Junior Olivia Sipsock (Medina, Ohio/Medina) and freshman Kaylee Synk (North Olmstead, Ohio/St. Joseph's Academy) also registered shots in the first half.

Coming out of the half scoreless, Ball State managed to score on a corner kick in the 51st minute.

Despite a late rally with shots from Sipsock and junior Rosalie Takacsy (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) in the final six minutes, Eastern was unable to get on the scoreboard.
