Women's Basketball Announces 2025-26 Promotional Schedule

Fans can enjoy exciting promotions for all 13 regular season home games
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball program announced the promotional schedule for the 2025-26 season Tuesday, Oct. 7.
Fans can purchase tickets here to enjoy 13 exciting regular-season contests. Each game brings more than just great basketball with special-themed events designed to create memorable experiences for fans both on and off the court.
2025 Season-Long Promotions
If the Eagles can score 35 total points in the first half of their home games, every fan in the arena can claim a free short stack of pancakes with purchase of a beverage from the Ypsilanti, Ellsworth Road IHOP for the 24 hours following the game. Those who redeem must either utilize the Eastern Rewards App and show their game ticket.
Then it's time to turn up the crowd noise for the 4th quarter of every game. During that time of each home game, if the opposing team misses two consecutive free throws in one trip, everyone in the crowd is going home with a free taco coupon, courtesy of Maiz! Each time the opposing team is at the foul line make sure to cheer your loudest for Eastern to have a chance at free tacos this season!

Nov. 26 vs. Robert Morris, 1 p.m. | Home Opener/Swoopsgiving
EMU Women's Basketball Tips Off their 2025-26 Season, with a celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday! Fans at the game will be able to pick up their 2025-26 Official Season Poster and Schedule Magnets. In partnership with Kroger, Eastern Michigan will be hosting a food drive at their November and December home games, and fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable/canned good to the game.
Dec. 5 vs. Defiance, 5 p.m. | Faculty&Staff Appreciation Night/Holiday Night
The first game of a Women's and Men's Basketball Double Header in the George Gervin GameAbove Center, EMU is ringing in the holiday season in Ypsilanti, while recognizing the work of the EMU Faculty & Staff and their efforts over the fall semester.
Dec. 9 vs. Duquesne, 12 p.m. | Education Day
Eastern Michigan women's basketball welcomes all Elementary and Middle Schools for a day that combines learning with high-level hoops. For more information, schools can reach out to athletic_marketing@emich.edu to register their classes for game tickets.
Dec. 30 vs. Bowling Green, 5 p.m. | Future Eagles & Family Game Night
The first game of a Women's and Men's Basketball Double Header in the George Gervin GameAbove Center, the Eagles will host the next generation of basketball players and welcome those for a family game night with a pack of EMU Branded Playing Cards.
Jan. 10 vs. Kent State, 2 p.m. | International/City Connect Day
Eastern Michigan will celebrate the different countries and cultures that are represented by not only the team's roster but also the greater EMU and Ypsilanti community. Fans will be able to get their own "Greetings From" Postcard to write a letter and mail a letter to someone they know.
Jan. 20 vs. Toledo, 6:30 p.m. | MLK Day Celebration
The day following the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday, the women's basketball team will honor the life and legacy of Dr. King as well as highlight the initiatives taking place during the Eastern Michigan University's 40th Annual Celebration.
Jan. 24 vs. Northern Illinois, 1 p.m. | Mental Health Awareness/FSL Day
The first game of a Women's and Men's Basketball Double Header in the George Gervin GameAbove Center, the Eagles will showcase the resources, assistance, and practices that can help create support towards Mental Health. The team will also welcome EMU's Greek Life to the game as part of Fraternity and Sorority Life Day.
Jan. 31 vs. Western Michigan, 2 p.m. | NGWSD
For National Girls and Women In Sports Day (Wed. Feb. 4), the Eagles will host their annual pre-game athletics kids clinic at the George Gervin GameAbove Center, with additional programming throughout the afternoon that highlight the past achievements and future progress made by women and girls in playing and working in sports.
Feb. 7 vs. SBC Opponent, 2 p.m. | Adam Sandler Tribute Day
The game recognizes the artistic work of movie star and avid basketball fan Adam Sandler. Featuring games, contests and a halftime pick-up basketball game by the EMU Athletics Staff, it will be a "Happy" afternoon in Ypsilanti.
Feb. 10 vs. Ball State, 6:30 p.m. | Black History Month
Eastern Michigan will remember the achievements and contributions as well as the adversities faced by Black Americans and African-Americans and highlight the stories of Black History at Eastern Michigan University.
Feb. 21 vs. Buffalo, 2 p.m. | Alumni Weekend/Shock Night/Play4Kay
Eastern will welcome back former EMU Women's Basketball players as they host their annual Alumni Weekend Game at the George Gervin GameAbove Center. And while celebrating the past, the team will celebrate the future of basketball in Detroit, with the return of the WNBA. The game will also kickoff the weeklong Play4Kay initiative around Breast Cancer Awareness that will continue in the team's following game.
Feb. 25 vs. Miami, 6:30 p.m. | Play4Kay/Fashion Night
While continuing the Play4Kay initiative, the Eagles will roll out the pink carpet for Fashion Night at the George Gervin GameAbove Center. Not only are fans encouraged to wear pink to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness, but those who showcase their fashion sense and style pink the best will be able to win prizes at the game.
March 4 vs. Ohio, 6:30 p.m. | Senior/Fan Appreciation Day
The final regular season home game of the year will be Eastern's Senior Day and Fan Appreciation Day. It will be one last time to see the Eagles, and EMU will spend the evening celebrating the fans who make every season special.
