Cross Country Set to Host EMU Fall Classic

The men’s race will start at 4:30 p.m., followed by the women’s race at 5 p.m.
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University cross country programs are set to conclude the regular season Friday, Oct. 24, hosting the EMU Fall Classic at Hudson Mills Metropark in Dexter, Mich.
Both the men's and women's teams will be racing the 5k. The men's race will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the women's race which will start at 5 p.m.

Last Time at the EMU Fall Classic
The men's race saw Nicholas Kline (Grand Rapids, Mich./Kenowa Hills), and Drew Graves (Shelby Township, Mich./Henry Ford II), compete for the Eagles. Kline led with a time of 17:00.10, followed by Graves who finished in 18:23.90. The women's team had nine participants, led by Frankie Moore (Columbia, Md./Oakland Mills), who finished with a time of 19:00.20.
Last Time Out
Eastern had athletes compete at both the Princeton and Jenna Strong Fall Classics, Friday, Oct. 17, hosted by Princeton University and Wilmington College, respectively. Liv Hatch (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso), led the women in their win at the Jenna Strong, finishing first in the 5k with a time of 18:04.0. Lucy Jones (Haverhill, England/Normanhurst School), followed shortly behind to secure a second-place finish with a time of 18:29.8. The men competed in the Princeton Fall Classic, finishing 23rd out of 31 teams. They were led by Kian Wiles (Hull, England/St. Mary's College), who ran the 8k in a personal-best 24:11.6.
Personal Bests
Most recently at the Princeton and Jenna Strong Fall Classics, Oct. 17, the programs combined for a total of five personal best performances.
