YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Seven student-athletes on the 2024 Eastern Michigan University football team have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Football Team.
The Eagles honored included defensive lineman Jefferson Adam (Ypsilanti, Mich./Washtenaw International/Hocking College/Iowa State), long snapper Mitchell Dietzel (Burlington, Wis./Catholic Central), tight end Jere Getzinger (West Branch, Mich./Ogemaw Heights), defensive back Dramarian McNulty (Brookhaven, Miss./Niceville (Fla.)/WCU/Mississippi Gulf Coast CC), linebacker Luke Murphy (Massillon, Ohio/Massillon Washington/Kent State), offensive lineman Mickey Rewolinski (Caledonia, Wis./Union Grove), and quarterback Cole Snyder (Lakewood, N.Y./Southwestern/Rutgers/Buffalo).
In order to be considered for CSC Academic All-District consideration, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and have a minimum grade point average of 3.50 (undergraduate and graduate). Nominees must have competed in 90 percent of the team's games or have started at least two-thirds of the games.
