Baseball to Host Inaugural Fall Wild Card Game Friday, Oct. 18, 4 p.m.

The game will serve as the culmination of the Eagles' fall season, admission is free
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Among Eastern Michigan University's Homecoming Weekend, the Eastern baseball team is set to host its Inaugural Wild Card Game at Oestrike Stadium Friday, Oct. 18, 4 p.m. The game will serve as the culmination of the Eagles' fall season, and act as fans' first opportunity to get a sneak-peek of the 2025 squad.
The contest is just a portion of the day, as the program is hosting its 15th annual golf outing, held at the Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti earlier in the day, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Alumni are invited to stick around for the next day for EMU Athletics' All-Sports Reunion held during the EMU football game versus Central Michigan University, Oct. 19.
Not only is the event free to the public, but Head Coach Robbie Britt will be buying the first 50 fans a free Little Caesars SuperSlice.
Kids of all ages are welcomed, and can enjoy the fun with a free face painting station along with multiple inflatables on the concourse.
There will be a multitude of concessions at the game, including food trucks from Little Caesars, Kona Ice, and Tom's Coffee.
