EMU Football Announces Themes for 2024 Home Games

YPSILANTI (EMUEagles.com) – With fall just around the corner, Eastern Michigan University Athletics is excited to unveil the themes for the six home games of the 2024 football season.
Game 1: Jacksonville State (Presented by McLaren Health Care) - Car Show

The third annual Car Show returns to The Factory as the Eagles take on Jacksonville State. This exciting event will feature a display of classic automobiles along the stadium terraces, showcasing some of the best vehicles in the area. Fans can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and admire these stunning cars as they celebrate the start of the home season. The game will also highlight the contributions of EMU alumni Phil Incarnati, with the official naming of the Incarnati Athletic Center, and Mike and Linda Morris, whose generosity has led to the renaming of the press box to the Mike and Linda Morris Press Box. These recognitions are part of the Championship Building Plan campaign.
Game 2: Saint Francis (Presented by EMUCU) - Hall of Fame & Band Day

Join us in welcoming the Eastern Michigan Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024. This year's inductees include men's basketball icon Kory Hallas, women's basketball All-American Tavelyn James, former MLB pitcher Matt Shoemaker, and women's track star Gina Tempro. Additionally, former men's basketball letterwinner Jack Brusewitz will receive the Ron Oestrike Distinguished Service Award for his unwavering support of EMU Athletics and the E-Club. High school bands from across Michigan will also be in attendance, cheering on the Eagles and performing alongside the Pride of the Peninsula during halftime. The day will also feature the dedication of the John C. Fountain Broadcast Booth in the press box.
Game 3: Miami (Presented by DTE) - City Connect / Community Day / Beerfest / Kids Club / The Temptations Performance

City Connect Day is a celebration of Ypsilanti and Washtenaw County. This day will highlight local businesses and community members who make southeastern Michigan special. The legendary vocal group, The Temptations, will join the EMU Marching Band for a spectacular halftime show. Additionally, Kids Club Day will provide young fans who are members of Swoop's Jr. Eagles Kids Club with a free game ticket and the opportunity to participate in a pre-game high-five tunnel on the field.
Game 4: Central Michigan (Presented by Trinity Health) - Homecoming & Family Weekend

Homecoming Week 2024 culminates in a matchup against in-state rival Central Michigan. The festivities begin on Monday, Oct. 14, and continue throughout the week, with a special focus on reconnecting with the campus community and celebrating EMU's unique spirit. Alumni are invited to the All-Sports Reunion, where former student-athletes and coaches can reminisce and enjoy exclusive access, complimentary food and beverages, and prime viewing from a private tent in the south end zone.
Game 5: Toledo (Presented by Michigan Army National Guard) - Salute to Service / Champions Day

Eastern Michigan will honor the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in the military. The Salute to Service game is an opportunity for the community to express gratitude for their sacrifices. Additionally, the day will celebrate the achievements of EMU's championship teams and athletes.
Game 6: Buffalo (Presented by MetroNet) - Senior Night / MACtion

Celebrate the 2024 Senior Class as they play their final home game. This group has contributed significantly to the program's success, and we encourage fans to come out and show their appreciation. The game also marks the return of MACtion, promising an electrifying midweek matchup and a night of excitement and surprises.

- General Admission (Home Sideline): $20 (Sections 110-114)
- General Admission (Visitor Sideline): $20 (Sections 115-131)

- Reserved Value Pack: $80 (4 tickets in Sections 104-109)
- General Admission Value Pack: $60 (4 tickets in general admission sections)
