EMU Adds Michigan to Future Football Schedules

EMU travels to Ann Arbor in 2027 and 2030
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan football programs announced on Wednesday, May 15, that the teams will renew a non-conference series that has been dormant since 2011. Eastern will make the 5.8-mile trip to Michigan Stadium during the 2027 season, Sept. 18, and return to Ann Arbor during the 2030 campaign, Sept. 7.
Overall, Michigan and Eastern Michigan have played 10 times on the gridiron with U-M having won all of the previous matchups. The series started in 1896 with Michigan recording an 18-0 shutout. The last time the two squads met was Sept. 17, 2011, when Michigan turned in a 31-3 victory over EMU.
EMU's non-conference schedule is listed below through 2030. The Mid-American Conference schedule is usually released in early March.
With the season fast approaching, the EMU Ticket Office has announced the sale of 2024 ticket packages. EMU's schedule features six home games, with the first game on the new Maxx Crosby Field inside Rynearson Stadium to be played on Saturday, Sept. 14, against Jacksonville State.
