The team will conduct 15 practices, concluding with the team's annual spring game

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University football program returns to the turf for its first spring practice Monday, March 11, at 3:25 p.m. The session kicks off a string of 15 practice dates during a five-week period that culminates with the team's annual spring game Friday, April 12.

During the spring practice period, the Eagles will be hitting the field three times per week.

The 2024 season will look like no other inside "The Factory", with the removal of the track and the replacement of the stadium's turf. The field will be renamed "Maxx Crosby Field" following a $1 million to the EMU by NFL All-Pro/Las Vegas Raiders standout Maxx Crosby and his wife/former EMU soccer student-athlete, Rachel Crosby.

Stadium renovations will begin in March and are expected to be complete by late May. However, due to the construction timeline, EMU football will be unable to hold its annual spring game in the venue. Instead, EMU will hold its Spring Game Friday, April 12, inside the Indoor Practice Facility. Due to capacity restrictions, the event will be closed to the general public.
