EMU will play five of its six games at home within an eight-week stretch, offering fans ample opportunities to experience the excitement live. Additionally, Eastern will defend the gray turf for all but one game during the month of October.

Marking a departure from recent tradition, Eastern Michigan will wrap up its 2024 regular season on a Saturday, deviating from the customary "Black Friday" finale. The last time EMU finished on a Saturday occurred in 2002.

As anticipation builds, fans can expect an updated version of the MAC's football schedule to be released in June, complete with kick times and a television schedule for the first three weeks of the regular season and midweek games during November. Additionally, promotional information and themes for the upcoming season will be announced at a later date, ensuring that each game day is a celebration.

Exciting developments are not confined to the field either. The 2024 season will see significant changes inside "The Factory," with the removal of the track and the replacement of the stadium's turf. As a testament to his generosity, the field will be renamed "Maxx Crosby Field" following a generous donation of $1 million by NFL All-Pro/Las Vegas Raiders standout Maxx Crosby and his wife/former EMU soccer student-athlete, Rachel Crosby.

For fans seeking the ultimate experience, exclusive season ticket packages are available, offering perks such as VIP seating and parking privileges. With options to suit every budget and preference, there's never been a better time to secure your spot and join the EMU community in cheering on the Eagles to victory.

The benefits of being a 2024 season ticket holder include: piece of the turf from "The Factory" with official certificate of authenticity; invitations to exclusive season ticket holder events; printed season ticket holder group photo; and official Eastern Athletics corporate partners coupon book.

Ultimate fan season tickets include a new and improved chairback with increased leg room on the 50 yard line along with VIP season parking for just $180. Additional chairback season tickets are available in Reserved Sections 104-109 for only $150.

Reserved season tickets are available for $120 or general admission season tickets are $108. Eastern Michigan faculty, staff, and young alumni (35-and-under) season tickets are only $84. Additionally, former EMU student-athletes can purchase an E-Club membership for $200 that provides season tickets for all home football, men's basketball, and women's basketball games. To purchase E-Club season memberships, please call the Eastern Athletics Ticket Office at 734.487.3669.

EMU kicks off the year on the road against future MAC foe UMass Saturday, Aug. 31, before traveling to 2024 College Football Playoff runner-up, Washington, Sept. 7. It marks the sixth meeting against the Minutemen since 2014, while it marks the first time the Eagles and the Huskies have tangled on the gridiron. EMU will be looking to improve on its 3-2 record against Big Ten Conference opponents since 2017 after previously downing Rutgers (16-13) in 2017, Purdue (20-19) in 2018, and Illinois (34-31) in 2019.

Eastern Michigan returns to Ypsilanti, Sept. 14, for a home date against Jacksonville State. The non-conference schedule concludes Saturday, Sept. 21, with a visit by Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) foe St. Francis (Pa.).

Eastern Michigan opens its 49th MAC season on the road at Kent State Saturday, Sept. 28.

Miami, Oct. 12, and Central Michigan, Oct. 19, await 11th-year Head Coach Chris Creighton and his team as the Eagles will play all but one game the entire month of October away from Rynearson Stadium. It will mark the first visit by the RedHawks since 2021. Meanwhile, the game against the Chippewas will continue the longest-running rivalry between any two MAC schools, as the meeting will mark the 102nd on the gridiron for the two programs.

EMU treks to the Rubber City Oct. 26, to square off against Akron before returning to host Toledo, Nov. 2.

The schedule shifts to the bright lights of national television and midweek affairs for the final three games.  Overall, Eastern will play three games in a 27-day span with gaps of 11 (Nov. 2-13), seven (Nov. 13-20), and 10 (Nov. 20-30) days between tilts.

Eastern Michigan dips across the Ohio border Wednesday, Nov. 13, to face off against Ohio. It marks EMU's first trip to Peden Stadium since the 2016 season when Eastern escaped town with a 27-20 victory. Eastern has not posted consecutive roads wins over Ohio since doing so between 1991 and 1994.

The home slate concludes Wednesday, Nov. 20, against Buffalo before the team wraps up the regular season Saturday, Nov. 30, at Western Michigan. The last time the Eagles finished on the road in Kalamazoo came during the 2000 campaign.

The 28th MAC Football Championship game will again take place in downtown Detroit on Saturday, Dec. 7. This will mark the 21st MAC Football Championship game at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions, Super Bowl XL, and the 2009 NCAA Men's Final Four.

Overall, EMU has added 45 fresh faces to the roster for the upcoming season after 30 players committed during the Early Signing Period in December.  Eastern Michigan currently holds the top transfer class in the MAC and 78th nationally according to 247Sports. All told, EMU has 13 transfers with a composite average of 85.00 according to the recruiting service.

Eastern Michigan returns to the turf for its first spring practice Monday, March 11. The session kicks off a string of 15 practice dates during a five-week period that culminates with the team's annual spring game.

Stadium renovations will begin in March and are expected to be complete by late May. However, due to the construction timeline, EMU will be unable to hold its annual spring game in the venue. Instead, Eastern Michigan will hold its Spring Game Friday, April 12, inside the Indoor Practice Facility. Due to capacity restrictions, the event will be closed to the general public.
