Football Season Is Almost Here. Practice Begins Wednesday!

Wednesday, Aug. 2, marks the first practice leading up to the kickoff against Howard
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University football team begins its quest for a Mid-American Conference Championship Tuesday, Aug. 1, as the players report to training camp. The team's first practice is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 9:30 a.m.
With the elimination of two-a-days in preseason practice and the lengthening of camp, EMU can don full pads for the first time on Tuesday, Aug. 8.
Eastern will practice 20 times before it officially enters game week preparation for the season-opener at home Friday, Sept. 1, against Howard University.
Practices are closed to the public.
Season and single-game tickets are on sale in anticipation of the fall. Eastern Michigan continues to offer the Ultimate Fan Season Ticket Plan for just $150. This package includes a wide chairback with armrests on the 50-yard line along with VIP season parking. Chairback Season Tickets are $120 and include a chairback in Reserved Sections 104-109.
Reserved season tickets are just $108 (Reserved Sections 104-109), while General Admission season tickets are $84 (Sections 110-114 and the visiting side).
