YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – As the season has officially changed over to summer with fall lying on the horizon, football season is just around the corner. Eastern Michigan Athletics has announced the themes for all six of its football home games in the 2023 season.
First up, in the opening game of the 2023 campaign, the Eagles will face the Bison of Howard University on Eastern-Fest presented by DTE, Sept. 1
After returning home from a "Power Five" battle with the Minnesota Golden Gophers, EMU will face the University of Massachusetts with a trio of themes; car show, band day, and kids club day, Sept. 16. Next, Ball State makes a trip to The Factory for Eastern's annual homecoming game presented by Trinity Health, Oct. 7
In its second straight home game, the Green and White will clash with the Golden Flashes of Kent State on Mitten Made and Beer Fest/Fall Fest night, sponsored by Fairfield Inn and Holiday Inn Express, Oct. 14. The battle of East versus West will renew, Oct. 28, when the Eagles and Broncos meet at Rynearson Stadium. It will be a trio of themes, Family Weekend, Salute to Service, and Hall of Fame Weekend.
In the final home game of the 2023 season, Eastern will face off with the Akron Zips on its Senior Night, while also being that week's selection for midweek MACtion, as the game will kick off at 7 p.m. on a Tuesday evening, Nov. 14.
With the season just a few months away, the EMU Ticket Office has announced the sale of 2023 ticket packages.
2023 Ticket Packages:
- Ultimate Fan Season Tickets: $150 (Includes wide chairback with armrests on the 50 yard line along with VIP season parking).
- Chairback Season Tickets: $120 (Includes chairback in Reserved Sections 104-109).
- Reserved Season Tickets: $108 (Available in Reserved Sections 104-109).
- General Admission Season Tickets: $84 (Available In Sections 110-114 and all Visiting Side).
- General Admission Value Pack: $240 (Min. 4).
- General Admission Alumni Season Value Pack: $220 (Min. 4)
- E-Club Season Tickets: Start at $200. Available for former EMU Student-Athletes and provides Season Tickets for all home Football, Men's Basketball, and Women's Basketball games.
- Pride of the Peninsula Package: $150 (Includes $30 support to the EMU Marching Band). Available for EMU Marching Band Alumni, parents, family, and friends, and provides Season Tickets for all home Football games.

Join us in celebrating the 2023 Senior Class for Eastern Football. The group has helped lead the program to numerous achievements and we need you there to send them off right! After a year off, MACtion is back at the Factory! Come out for the exciting midweek matchup and take part in the chaotic fun that will unfold that evening.

Eastern-Fest will celebrate the best that the Eastern Michigan University extended community has to offer. Featuring fun-filled festival and fair activities for the family and students, engaging attractions from EMU campus partners, and showcasing the best of the surrounding counties that will serve to kick off the season in the most exciting way possible.
Sept. 16 vs UMass: Car Show, Band Day, and Kid's Club Day
The second annual Car Show will return to The Factory when the Eagles take on UMass, Sept 16. The Car Show will take place along the stadium terraces and showcase the top classic automobiles in the area. Eastern Michigan will welcome top high school bands from the state of Michigan who will be cheering on the Eagles and then join the Pride of the Peninsula during the halftime performance. Plus, sign up now to take part in our Kids Club Day. All Kids who are registered for Swoop's Jr. Eagles Kids Club prior to the game will receive a free game ticket along with being able to participate in a pre-game high-five tunnel on the field.
Oct. 7 vs Ball State: Homecoming
Get ready to paint it green. Homecoming Week 2023 starts on Monday, Oct. 2 and finishes on Saturday, Oct. 7, when the Eagles take on Ball State at Rynearson Stadium. Bring your family and friends and show your Eagle pride as you reconnect with campus and reunite with old friends. A day to showcase the pride of Michigan and its residents, Mitten Made will focus on the best aspects of the state and highlight local businesses and people that make us proud to be from Michigan. BeerFest and FallFest return to Rynearson Stadium this season and fans will be able to join in the fun for both of these events with more information soon to come.
