Six EMU Women's Golfers Earn Academic All-MAC Honors

EMU tied with Central Michigan and Northern Illinois for the most in the league

CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – A total of six members of the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team earned 2023 Academic All-MAC Team distinctions, the Mid-American Conference announced today, May 25. Eastern tied with Central Michigan University and Northern Illinois University for the most honorees.

Earning the honor this season were senior Natai Apichonlati (Bangkok, Thailand-The Regent's International School), sophomore Alyssa DiMarcantonio (Maple, Ontario-Tommy Douglas Secondary School), sophomore Kyleigh Dull (Fremont, Ohio-Lakota), senior Adeline Lau (Sa Rawak, Malaysia-SMK Bintulu-Michigan Dearborn), senior Olivia Loberg (Bend, Ore.-Summit), and junior Anna Watson (Ashland, Ohio-Ashland).

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
