Four boats competed against BC and MIT

BOSTON, Mass. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University rowing team continued its spring schedule against Boston College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Saturday, April 8, on the Charles River. Four Eagle boats raced against the fleet of east coast competitors.

Post Race Quotes
"We made several crucial errors in preparation for racing today that caused most of our boats to revert back to their most base level of rowing rather than their best," said Head Coach Kemp Savage. "We need to work on controlling our controllables and get better prep this week for racing next."

"It was great to race Boston College and MIT," sophomore Carly Summers (Novi, Mich.-Novi) said. "We maintained focus all throughout the race and really pushed ourselves. This race really kicked off the season and helped us prepare for races to come."
