CLEVELAND, Ohio. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University football team's game versus Kent State University, set for Saturday, Oct. 14, will kick off at 12 p.m. and will air nationally on CBS Sports Network, the Mid-American Conference Office announced today, Oct 2.
The game will also be aired on WEMU (89.1 FM) and on the Varsity Network app. Veteran broadcasters Tom Helmer (play-by-play) and Rob Rubick (analyst) will have the call from Rynearson Stadium.
It will be a day designed to showcase the pride of Michigan and its residents. Known as Mitten Made, Eastern Michigan will focus on the best aspects of the state and highlight local businesses and people that make us proud to be from Michigan. BeerFest and FallFest return to "The Factory" this season and fans will be able to join in the fun for both of these events.
EMU returns home after two weeks on the road and will have a true celebration to welcome it back, as the Eagles will play host to Ball State University on Homecoming, Oct. 7. The home Mid-American Conference opener for the Eagles is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. at 'The Factory' inside Rynearson Stadium to highlight a week of festivities on the Ypsilanti campus.
