The slate features 54 contests and 20 games at Oestrike Stadium

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Eastern Michigan University baseball Head Coach Eric Roof announced the program's 2023 schedule today, Jan. 9.
The schedule includes 20 home contests inside Oestrike Stadium and 24 non-conference games, with the first 11 being away from Ypsilanti. The Eagles will also play at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers, April 25.
With the Mid-American Conference's changes to the schedule (now three-game weekend series), the conference slate includes 10 series for a total of 30 games leading to the league tournament at the site of the regular season champion. Midweek contests against fellow MAC opponents WILL NOT count towards conference records.

The Green and White will begin the season in Hoover, Ala., to play Northern Kentucky in a three-game series, Feb. 17-19. The Eagles continue the season-opening road trip in Evansville, Ind., with a series against Evansville, Feb. 24-26. The Eagles will then take a trip right outside of Baltimore to compete against Towson, March 3-5, in a four-game weekend series and return to the Mitten for a midweek contest at Oakland, March 7.
EMU will begin MAC play at Akron, March 10-12, and finish the early-season road trip with a league series at Western Michigan, March 17-19. Eastern's home opener at Oestrike Stadium will feature a midweek contest versus Butler, March 21. The Green and White will remain in Ypsilanti for a #MACtion series with Ball State, March 24-26.
The Eagles will once again travel to Rochester, Mich., to compete against Oakland, March 28. EMU will continue its road venture with a three-game series at Ohio, March 31-April 2, and end with a midweek, non-conference contest with Akron, April 4.
The rest of the Green and White's April slate includes Miami (April 7-9), Western Michigan (April 11), Bowling Green (April 14-16), Akron (April 18) and Toledo (April 21-23). The later part of April features a date with Alma, April 25, at Comerica Park and a weekend series at Niagara, April 28-30.
The final month of the regular season includes a contest with Concordia (May 2), Central Michigan (May 5-7), Michigan State (May 10), Kent State (May 12-14) and Oakland (May 16). The Eagles will conclude its regular season with a three-game home series versus Northern Illinois, May 18-20.
The MAC Championships will be hosted at the site of the regular season champion, May 24-27, comprising of the top four programs in league play. Last season, the Eagles finished seventh in the MAC with a 22-34 overall record and a 16-24 record in conference contests.
