WOLCOTT, Colo. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University junior Anna Watson (Ashland, Ohio-Ashland) continues to lead the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic, Sept. 27. The Ashland, Ohio, native is tied for 17th with a two-over 146 (70-76), as the team is in 16th place with a 609 (293-316) on the par-72 Red Sky Golf Club - Fazio Course.
Pepperdine holds a nine stroke lead over the field with a 564 (285-279), while the Wave's Lauren Gomez leads the individual leaderboard with a six-under 138 (67-71).
How It Happened
Sophomore Kyleigh Dull (Fremont, Ohio-Lakota) carded a 77 on Tuesday for 36-hole mark of 151 (74-77) in a tie for 54th. Senior Olivia Loberg (Bend, Ore.-Summit) added 155 (73-82) to tie for 68th, while sophomore Alyssa DiMarcantonio (Maple, Ontario-Tommy Douglas Secondary School) finished the day with a 158 (76-82) in 81st place. Senior Natai Apichonlati (Bangkok, Thailand-The Regent's International School) rounded out the scoring with a 160 (79-81).
