YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University E-Club Alumni Chapter, the official varsity athletic letterwinners club, has announced the addition of four new members into the E-Club Athletic Hall of Fame. The Class of 2022 will be honored at the Hall of Fame ceremony Friday, Oct. 28, at 6 p.m.
The Class of 2022 includes: Autumn Bragg (Women's Swimming & Diving), Carrie Gould Hatfield (Women's Track & Field and Cross Country), T.J. Lang (Football), and Carl E. Lowe (Men's Track & Field).
This year's class will mark the 46th anniversary of the E-Club Athletic Hall of Fame with a ceremony at 6 p.m. inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center. The Class of 2022 will then be recognized during the EMU football game on Saturday, Oct. 29, against the University of Toledo.

Additionally, the ceremony will be the first with the renovated E-Club Hall of Fame in the atrium of the George Gervin GameAbove Center. The new display prominently featured photos of each hall of fame member along with an interactive display with in-depth features on each class since 1976.
The biographies for the Eastern Michigan University Athletics Hall of Fame 2022 inductees follow below.
AUTUMN BRAGG
Women's Swimming & Diving: Graduated in 1997...Four-year letter winner as a member of the EMU Women's Swimming and Diving team from 1992-96...Three-time Mid-American Conference Individual Champion in the 100 breaststroke (1994 and 1995) and the 200 breaststroke (1995)...Three-time MAC Champion as a member of the 200 medley relay team (1993) and 400 medley relay teams (1993 and 1994)...Named Academic All-MAC in 1995...Earned All-MAC honors and was an NCAA National Qualifier (1994) placing 24th overall in the 100 breaststroke...Ranks in EMU's top-10 all-time performance records in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.23).
CARRIE GOULD HATFIELD
Women's Cross Country/Track & Field: Graduated in 2003...Earned several letters in women's indoor and outdoor track and field and cross country at EMU from 1996-2000...Four-time All Mid-American Conference Cross Country selection (1996, 1997, 1998 and 2000)...1997 MAC Cross Country Champion...Three-time Cross Country All-NCAA Regional Performer (1997, 1998 and 2000)...Four-time Indoor MAC Champion in the 3,000-meter run (1999), the 5,000-meter run (2000), and as a member of the distance medley relay teams (1999 and 2000)…Named MAC Indoor First Team three times (1999 and twice in 2000)...Earned MAC Indoor Second Team honors in 1997…Five-time Outdoor MAC Champion in the 3,000-meter run, 5,000-meter run, 10,000-meter run, and as a member of the distance medley relay team in 1999 and again in the 10,000-meter run in 2000...Named MAC Outdoor First Team twice (1999 and 2000)...Earned MAC Outdoor Second Team honors in 1997...Selected as the Most Valuable Performer at the 1999 MAC Championship...Earned NCAA Outdoor All-America honors in the 10,000-meter run (1999)...Appears in EMU's top-10 all-time records seven times (four indoor and three outdoor).

Football: Earned four letters in football at EMU from 2005-08...Started EMU career on the defensive line (2005) and then moved to the offensive line (2006)...Served as team captain for the 2008 season...Earned Second Team All Mid-American Conference in 2008...Received the Harold E. Sponberg Scholar Lineman Award in 2008...Selected in 2009 to the postseason individual bowl appearance Texas vs. The Nation...Ranks 11th on EMU's all-time list for games played (47) and 14th for game starts (37)...Named in the 2000s EMU Football All-Decade Roster for Offensive Line...Selected in the fourth round, 109th overall pick, of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers...Played 10 years in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers (2009-2016) and the Detroit Lions (2017-2018)...Earned a Super Bowl ring as a member of the 2011 Green Bay Packers...Two-time NFL Pro-Bowl Selection (2017 and 2018)...Professionally played in 138 games, starting 113...Made an appearance in the movie "Pitch Perfect 2" with then teammates from Green Bay...Post retirement, served as a Sideline Reporter for the Detroit Lions Radio Network...Named the strength and conditioning center in the EMU Student-Athlete Performance Center in remembrance of his late father, Thomas Lang.

Men's Track & Field: Graduated in 1996...Competed for the EMU Men's Track & Field indoor and outdoor teams from 1990-95...Three-time Mid-American Conference Individual Champion in the 400-meter dash (indoor in 1992 and 1994; outdoor in 1995)...Member of six MAC Championship relay teams (three indoor and three outdoor)…Has a total of nine MAC Championship titles...Appears in EMU's all-time top-10 record books four times as a part of the indoor distance medley relay team (1994) and indoor and outdoor 3200-meter relay team (1993, 1994, 1995)...Claimed All-America status twice (1993 indoor 3200-meter relay and 1994 indoor distance medley relay teams)...Member of the 1993 Indoor National Champion 3200-meter relay team.
