YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Another year of Eastern Michigan athletic competition means it's time for the return of the only show that brings you All things Eastern, All the time– The Eastern Insider Podcast, presented by Fowling Warehouse
Back for season five, the Eastern Insider Podcast is your one-stop-shop for exclusive interviews and sport-by-sport breakdowns with your favorite EMU student-athletes, coaches, alums, and staff members.
With new episodes released every Monday afternoon, returning hosts Greg Steiner and Alex Jewell will open the show with a quick look at notable events from the week that was and provide updates on the latest breaking news within the EMU Department of Athletics. From there, the pair will provide their thoughts on the matchups of the week, and will usually spend at least a few moments discussing the latest food trends or practicing their sub-par standup comedy.
Following the intro, it's time for the main event, which will typically consist of two feature interviews with individuals from around the University. Whether it's Head Football Coach Chris Creighton who is featured in the Season Five premiere episode, Law and Order SVU Start Dann Florek, Super Bowl Champion Andrew Wylie, or other student-athletes, coaches, and staffers, Steiner and Jewell will take you inside the athletic department and locker room to get you the answers to questions that will only be discussed on the show!
In addition to great guests, the show will also bring back the popular "Keyword Giveaway," segment in 2022. Listeners can pay attention between the first and second feature interviews for a keyword of the week. Once you hear it, send it to EMU Athletics on Twitter or Facebook, and you'll automatically be entered to win! The season's first giveaway includes a pair of tickets to EMU's first football game, vs. Eastern Kentucky, Sept.2, as well as a free Fowling Warehouse gift card.
