Football Season Is Almost Here. Practice Begins Tuesday!

Tuesday, Aug. 2, marks the first practice leading up to the kickoff against Eastern Kentucky
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University football team began its quest for a Mid-American Conference Championship Monday Aug. 1, as the players reported to training camp. The team's first practice is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 2, at 9:30 a.m.
With the elimination of two-a-days in preseason practice and the lengthening of camp, EMU can don full pads for the first time on Monday, Aug. 8.
Eastern will practice 20 times before it officially enters game week preparation for the season-opener at home Friday, Sept. 2, against Eastern Kentucky.
Practices are normally closed to the public. Media and guests requesting to attend practice must give 24-hours notice and to verify practice times and availability.
Season tickets are on sale in anticipation for the fall, as fans will have the opportunity to pick their seat inside the stadium. The "fan-friendly" 2022 schedule features six home games, five will be played before the month of October concludes. Furthermore, Eastern will defend the gray turf for four-of-six games between Sept. 24 and Oct. 29.
Eastern Michigan continues to offer the Ultimate Fan Season Ticket Plan for just $144. This package includes a wide chairback with armrests on the 50-yard line along with VIP season parking. Chairback Season Tickets are $108 and include a chairback in Reserved Sections 104-109.
Reserved season tickets are just $99 (Reserved Sections 104-109), while General Admission season tickets are $75 (Sections 110-114 and the visiting side).
