EMU Spring Football Game and Apparel Sale Set for April 15

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The annual spring game for the Eastern Michigan University football team is scheduled for Friday, April 15, inside "The Factory" at Rynearson Stadium. The Green and White will take the field with the event scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is free and gates open at 5:30 p.m. This will be EMU fans' first chance to get a peek at the Eagles' improvements under the direction of ninth-year Head Coach Chris Creighton.
In addition to the spring game, EMU Athletics is hosting an adidas apparel sale. Fans who want to purchase select official EMU gear will have the chance to do so at a discounted rate during the spring game. Eastern will be offering surplus team apparel, footwear, and a limited number of football trophy helmets at the sale. All sales are final with cash or credit cards being accepted for payment.
Season ticket holders who have already purchased their seats for the 2022 season will enjoy multiple benefits including early entry into the adidas apparel sale prior to the general public at 5 p.m. and will also have opportunities to be entered into special on-field promotions during the game.
Youth will be able to take part in one of the largest Easter egg hunts in Washtenaw County as well. The free event will feature more than 1,000 brightly-colored eggs filled with a multitude of prizes. There will be two setups for ages 6-and-younger and 7-12 on the field level at the stadium.
Additionally, food trucks and the kids play zone will also be set up for fans to enjoy. Postgame, EMU student-athletes will be available for autographs on a commemorative spring game poster.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and make it a full day of EMU Athletics. The baseball team tangles with Ohio University at 2 p.m. inside Oestrike Stadium. Admission is free to all events.
Free parking is available in the George Gervin GameAbove Center lots as well as the Rynearson Stadium lots off of Hewitt Road.
Season tickets are on sale in anticipation for the fall, as fans will have the opportunity to pick their seat inside the stadium. The "fan-friendly" 2022 schedule features six home games, five will be played before the month of October concludes. Furthermore, Eastern will defend the gray turf for four-of-six games between Sept. 24 and Oct. 29.
Eastern Michigan continues to offer the Ultimate Fan Season Ticket Plan for just $144. This package includes a wide chairback with armrests on the 50-yard line along with VIP season parking. Chairback Season Tickets are $108 and include a chairback in Reserved Sections 104-109.
Reserved Season Tickets are just $99 (Reserved Sections 104-109), while General Admission Season Tickets are $75 (Sections 110-114 and the visiting side).
