Eastern Michigan Rowing Gains Experience Versus Michigan State

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University rowing team gained experience in its home opener against Michigan State today, April 2, on Ford Lake.
Eastern Michigan 2V8+ crew was strong in its race, but could not overcome the Spartans' late push, crossing the finish line in 7:29.60 to MSU's 7:29.56 time. The Eagles' 1V8+ boat finished runner-up in its race with a time of 7:26.4. The Green and White's 3V8+ team completed the 2,000-meter course in 8:33.71, while the 1V4+ clocked in at 8:54.72. Eastern's N8 crew finished its race in 9:17.9.
