The teams will play four games between March 25-27

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University and University of Akron baseball programs have agreed to changes for this weekend's upcoming series between the Eagles and Zips. The changes are being made in anticipation of inclement weather.

Games one and two of the four-game set will now be played as a doubleheader, Friday, March 25, beginning at 2 p.m. Game one will be a seven-inning contest, while game two will be a full, nine-inning contest.

The teams will then play one game each both Saturday, March 26, and Sunday, March 27. Game time for Saturday will be determined Friday evening based on weather, but is anticipated to begin at 2 p.m. Sunday's finale will begin at 1 p.m.

The series was originally scheduled to feature single games Friday and Sunday, with a doubleheader, Saturday.

All games are free to the public. For the most up-to-date information on all things EMU baseball, including possible game time changes, be sure to follow @EMU_Baseball on social media and continue to visit EMUEagles.com.
