BOISE, Idaho (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University football team is officially up and moving on day three of its trip to the 26th Annual Famous Idaho Potato Bowl today, Dec. 18.
In the full swing of both team events and football-related activities, yesterday's action saw the Eagles complete a fully-scheduled day.
The morning started early as the team loaded its buses and departed for Boise State's University's Albertsons Stadium, the site of Tuesday's game. After the players got a first-look at their locker room, they were able to cross over the famous blue turf that adorns the 36,000+ seat stadium en route to the indoor practice facility.
After a two-hour run through and team practice, select players and coaches took part in post-practice interviews. Student-athletes Jaylon Jackson (Burleson, Texas-Centennial-Lamar) and Sidy Sow (Bromont, Quebec-J-H Leclerc-Champlain Lennoxville) sat down with EMU Associate AD Greg Steiner to discuss the upcoming game.
Following a break for lunch and recovery, the team regrouped for game-planning meetings in the afternoon.
The day concluded with a trip to Wahooz, a local family fun center, where the team took part in activities ranging from classic arcade games to laser tag.
The team is off and running on day three activities today. The schedule includes another practice, a trip up the mountains, and axe throwing, among other activities.
Full day three coverage will continue throughout the day today.
